2006 Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Schedule
All games at Old Cowtown Museum will begin with an introduction to Baseball in the 1870's and Wichita. A break after the 6th inning for 30 minutes will be set. The game will be completed after the break for a full 9 innings weather permitting. Additional games and events will be added when scheduled.

April 1, 2006 - 10:30AM - Saturday - Opening Day for Old Cowtown Museum
  Opening day for the Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Season with 2 games between the Wichita Red Stockings and Wichita Bull Dozers.
 
April 22, 2006 - 10:30AM - Saturday - The Cowtown Nine vs The N.E. Kiwanis Club of Wichita
  A Line-Up of BullDozers and Red Stockings will challenge the skills of the Kiwanis Club Nine.

The Kiwanis Club was unable to field a team, so the Dozers tried to avenge their opening day losses to the Stockings.

  A full day of Base Ball with 2 games between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers.
 
May 21, 2006 - 1PM - Sunday
  A single game between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers.
 
June 3 & 4, 2006 - Stuhr Museum in Grand Island Nebraska
  The club travels to Grand Island Nebraska for a weekend of Base Ball in a tournament at the Stuhr Museum.
 
June 17, 2006 - 10:30AM - Saturday - Frontier Justice & Celebrity weekend at Old Cowtown Museum
  A full day of Base Ball with 2 games between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers.

July 19, 2006 - 7:05PM - Wednesday - Cowtown Nine vs. El Dorado Broncos at El Dorado
  The Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Club helps celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Butler County Historical Society with a game against the Broncos played per the rules of the early 1860's. There will be a short exhibition game starting at 6:15 between the Wichita Red Stockings and the Wichita Bull Dozers.
 
August 5 & 6, 2006 - 1PM - Family Fun Day at Old Cowtown Museum
  A single game each day between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers.
 
August 11, 2006 - 6PM - Friday - College Hill Park, Wichita Kansas
  A single game between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers. The Cowtown Base Ball Club will help celebrate the College Hill Neighborhood Association's Family Fun Days Event.
 
August 12, 2006 - 7:30PM - Saturday - Lyons, Kansas
  A single game between the Cowtown Bull Stockings and the Lyons "Old Rebs".
 
August 26, 2006 - 5pm - Saturday - John Brown Museum, Osawatomie Kansas
  The Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Club travels to the John Brown Museum to play a local nine has part of the Sesquicentennial Commemoration of the Battle of Osawatomie. Activities start at 10:00 with a battle field reenactment at 3:15.

  A single game between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers.
 
September 30, 2006 - 2PM - Saturday - Cowtown Nine vs. Butler Missouri Nine at Butler MO
  The Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Club helps celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of Butler Missouri with a game against the local boys. The game will be played per the rules of the early 1860's.
 
October 7 & 8, 2006 - 1PM - 1870's County Fair at Old Cowtown Museum
  A single game each day between the Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers.
 
October 22, 2006 - 1PM - Sunday - Old Cowtown Championship Game
  The Red Stockings and the Bull Dozers will face-off for a final game of the year. The winner will be crowned the Champions of Old Cowtown Museum. A presentation will take place right after the game with individual awards and team awards at a Baseball Banquet.
